I'm really sorry, but I'm deleting this blog. But don't worry because I'm already running one where you can find news about Formula One and my opinions on that. What's more it's a complete blog about my life and opinions. I hope you'll like it.

Arctic Rally on Friday

Only 5 days and the Arctic Lapland Rally is here! I'm curious about the whole race! It's going to be Kimi Räikkönen first race in this year and a smaller test before his debut in WRC. Hopefully, there won't be any problems with the car.
Actually we will see two Räikkös there. This is making me more confident that this event is going to rock.

In addition to his debut and this event he tests the car these days. I've found a video of his testing and some new photos too. They are totally amazing! I love each of them.

Actually, I've read an article that Kimi will decide about his future in the middle if the season two days ago. It would be cool to know where his future steps are going to take him, but I can say without prick of conscience he will stay in rally. Honestly, all of you know it. There is no future for Kimi in F1. Well, let's wait till it's going to be official.

Here are the promised new Kimi photos:

Teams & Drivers

Winter brake is in full stream and first tests will start soon. I'm interested in how will 2010 cars go and who evolved cars the most.
I can gladly announce that only four seats are available. So if you wanna take part in F1 circus as a driver you'd better hurry up. I recommend knocking only on team Renault's, Campos' and US' door. Actually Renault and Campos has announced one driver, but US none. Your chances at these teams are higher.
Other Formula One teams have filled up their line up.
Here is the list of announced drivers for now:

McLaren has got two British drivers for 2010. Both of them are champions, one from 2008 and the other is the last year's champion. I know it's clear for you about whom I talk. They are Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button. As I've mentioned few times before I really hope that the affair from the year 2007 won't be repeated.

Mercedes GP (formed Brawn GP) has taken care of this season's biggest comeback. They've signed two German drivers. One is Nico Rosberg and the second is Michael Schumacher. After he turned Ferrari down he is going to drive for 3 years in this team. I hope he's going to be happy there and won't regret his decision.

The line up for Red Bull stays as it was last year. They have active contracts for this season. Sebastian Vettel has a chance to achieve his first title and Webber may be replaced by Kimi Räikkönen after this season. Still, it's only a rumor.

After a compulsory sabbatical, Felipe Massa is coming back to Ferrari. I can happily say: FINALLY! I was tired of Badoer's and Fisico's bad results. Ferrari was lucky having Kimi in their team last year. Without him they would be no where. Never mind... Massa's team mate is going to be Fernando Alonso, who can thank his place to Santander.

Williams signed an older but very amiable driver, Rubens Barrichello. They'd given a chance to a young man, Nico Hülkenberg too. I can't wait to see this guy on the track!

Renault can boast only with one driver yet. Robert Kubica is maybe going to test the car without a team mate. As I said before, you still have a chance! Actually, Robert took part in Rally Monte Carlo, but he didn't make it far. During the first day his car broke down, so he couldn't continue. Poor Robert.

Welcome back Vitantonio Liuzii! This charming Italian's got a place in Force India. His team is nobody else than Adrian Sutil. I'm glad of having Liuzzi back.

This team's made me to bite my nails during these two months! When the first official list of drivers for 2010 was out and there were no Jaime Alguersuari I was nervous. That time they announced only Sebastien Buemi (who had an icy drive in Montreal last week). Luckily, Toro Rosso announced Jaime as their driver for 2010 few days ago.

A clearly new team Lotus has already signed their drivers. They are actually not that bad. Personally I think Jarno Trulli and Heiki Kovalainen are confronting with a very nice future.

Next newborn, Campos, signed only Bruno Senna, whom I can't wait to see in action! Well, this is the second team you can apply as a driver. Of course only if you have the interest.

Virgin Racing can be also proud of their catch. Timo Glock and Luca di Grassi (!) are going to drive for this teams. I only can say : LOVELY!

Last team I've found on the list is US F1. I'm sort of curious about their drivers. Hopefully, they'll announce it soon. Actually their first test is going to be out there, in USA. Gosh, I wish I could live there.

So, this is the whole list of the teams and their line ups... WAIT! Why Sauber is not on this list??? What's happening?

Räikkönen presents with Räikkönen

I'm more and more disquisitive about this year's Arctic Lapland Rally. Kimi's older brother is going to participate in icy Finland drive too.

Rami Räikkönen is a rally driver but participated in Formula 3 too. He ended on the 3rd position in 2007. This year Kimi gifted his Fiat Abarath Grade Punto S2000 to Rami.

I'm sure Lapland rally of this year is going to be more in the centre as past few years. Also, this is going to be the only event I've ever seen with so many Räikkönen's in.
Personally, I can't wait to see the Räikkönen vs. Räikkönen fight. Let the best win.

Happy Birthday

Champion, Jenson Button, celebrates his 30th birthday today!
I wish him only the best, and hopefully history won't be repeated.

HAPPY B-DAY, MAN!

Räikkönen tests Citroen

Finally he is again in the car!
Kimi Räikkönen had his first test of the Citroen C4 on Tuesday. He's getting used to the car. Actually, he's started the preparation in the earnest.
I'm not surprised, because the Arctic Lapland Rally is almost here and his debut in WRC as well. There are no doubts of his good results. He is going to rock it. Of course, he won't be the leader after two events, but he'll make it to the top.
If I look back on his results from last year I'm sure of that. He was 13th in Arctic Lapland Rally last year and in Rally Della Marca was 17th before his crash.
His results in WRC will be better event by event. He has the motivation. In addition to this he looks happier and more content.

Here are some pictures from his first test. Enjoy!

He looks gorgeous, doesn't he?

Fernando Alonso, official Ferrari driver

During this week Ferrari had its traditional meeting at the Madonna di Campiglio ski resort in northern Italy. Fernando Alonso made his debut in official team wear here. There were also his team mate Felipe Massa, Giancarlo Fisichella and drivers from team Ducati in MotoGP.
Mostly these meetings are connected with some press activities.
Actually, Alonso seems to be contented with his new team and also with his team mate. They were talking more than Massa did with Kimi during three years... At least Felipe Massa said this.
Honestly, if you look back at Kimi's time in McLaren you'll see a happy and satisfied young man. In addition to this he is more opened and happy in Rally, too. He is cheerful, communicative and there are sparks in his eyes! I'm pretty sure now that after 2007 he wasn't happy in Ferrari at all. Seeing him satisfied in Rally is making me content.

But this is not about what Massa said or not. This is about Fernando Alonso and his debut in last team in Formula One. Yes. He is not thinking about switching to another team in the future. I'm simply curious what's going to be when his contract with Ferrari expires earlier as he thinks it will.
