I'm really sorry, but I'm deleting this blog. But don't worry because I'm already running one where you can find news about Formula One and my opinions on that. What's more it's a complete blog about my life and opinions. I hope you'll like it.

Arctic Rally on Friday

Only 5 days and the Arctic Lapland Rally is here! I'm curious about the whole race! It's going to be Kimi Räikkönen first race in this year and a smaller test before his debut in WRC. Hopefully, there won't be any problems with the car.
Actually we will see two Räikkös there. This is making me more confident that this event is going to rock.

In addition to his debut and this event he tests the car these days. I've found a video of his testing and some new photos too. They are totally amazing! I love each of them.

Actually, I've read an article that Kimi will decide about his future in the middle if the season two days ago. It would be cool to know where his future steps are going to take him, but I can say without prick of conscience he will stay in rally. Honestly, all of you know it. There is no future for Kimi in F1. Well, let's wait till it's going to be official.

Here are the promised new Kimi photos:

Teams & Drivers

Winter brake is in full stream and first tests will start soon. I'm interested in how will 2010 cars go and who evolved cars the most.
I can gladly announce that only four seats are available. So if you wanna take part in F1 circus as a driver you'd better hurry up. I recommend knocking only on team Renault's, Campos' and US' door. Actually Renault and Campos has announced one driver, but US none. Your chances at these teams are higher.
Other Formula One teams have filled up their line up.
Here is the list of announced drivers for now:

McLaren has got two British drivers for 2010. Both of them are champions, one from 2008 and the other is the last year's champion. I know it's clear for you about whom I talk. They are Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button. As I've mentioned few times before I really hope that the affair from the year 2007 won't be repeated.

Mercedes GP (formed Brawn GP) has taken care of this season's biggest comeback. They've signed two German drivers. One is Nico Rosberg and the second is Michael Schumacher. After he turned Ferrari down he is going to drive for 3 years in this team. I hope he's going to be happy there and won't regret his decision.

The line up for Red Bull stays as it was last year. They have active contracts for this season. Sebastian Vettel has a chance to achieve his first title and Webber may be replaced by Kimi Räikkönen after this season. Still, it's only a rumor.

After a compulsory sabbatical, Felipe Massa is coming back to Ferrari. I can happily say: FINALLY! I was tired of Badoer's and Fisico's bad results. Ferrari was lucky having Kimi in their team last year. Without him they would be no where. Never mind... Massa's team mate is going to be Fernando Alonso, who can thank his place to Santander.

Williams signed an older but very amiable driver, Rubens Barrichello. They'd given a chance to a young man, Nico Hülkenberg too. I can't wait to see this guy on the track!

Renault can boast only with one driver yet. Robert Kubica is maybe going to test the car without a team mate. As I said before, you still have a chance! Actually, Robert took part in Rally Monte Carlo, but he didn't make it far. During the first day his car broke down, so he couldn't continue. Poor Robert.

Welcome back Vitantonio Liuzii! This charming Italian's got a place in Force India. His team is nobody else than Adrian Sutil. I'm glad of having Liuzzi back.

This team's made me to bite my nails during these two months! When the first official list of drivers for 2010 was out and there were no Jaime Alguersuari I was nervous. That time they announced only Sebastien Buemi (who had an icy drive in Montreal last week). Luckily, Toro Rosso announced Jaime as their driver for 2010 few days ago.

A clearly new team Lotus has already signed their drivers. They are actually not that bad. Personally I think Jarno Trulli and Heiki Kovalainen are confronting with a very nice future.

Next newborn, Campos, signed only Bruno Senna, whom I can't wait to see in action! Well, this is the second team you can apply as a driver. Of course only if you have the interest.

Virgin Racing can be also proud of their catch. Timo Glock and Luca di Grassi (!) are going to drive for this teams. I only can say : LOVELY!

Last team I've found on the list is US F1. I'm sort of curious about their drivers. Hopefully, they'll announce it soon. Actually their first test is going to be out there, in USA. Gosh, I wish I could live there.

So, this is the whole list of the teams and their line ups... WAIT! Why Sauber is not on this list??? What's happening?

Räikkönen presents with Räikkönen

I'm more and more disquisitive about this year's Arctic Lapland Rally. Kimi's older brother is going to participate in icy Finland drive too.

Rami Räikkönen is a rally driver but participated in Formula 3 too. He ended on the 3rd position in 2007. This year Kimi gifted his Fiat Abarath Grade Punto S2000 to Rami.

I'm sure Lapland rally of this year is going to be more in the centre as past few years. Also, this is going to be the only event I've ever seen with so many Räikkönen's in.
Personally, I can't wait to see the Räikkönen vs. Räikkönen fight. Let the best win.

Happy Birthday

Champion, Jenson Button, celebrates his 30th birthday today!
I wish him only the best, and hopefully history won't be repeated.

HAPPY B-DAY, MAN!

Räikkönen tests Citroen

Finally he is again in the car!
Kimi Räikkönen had his first test of the Citroen C4 on Tuesday. He's getting used to the car. Actually, he's started the preparation in the earnest.
I'm not surprised, because the Arctic Lapland Rally is almost here and his debut in WRC as well. There are no doubts of his good results. He is going to rock it. Of course, he won't be the leader after two events, but he'll make it to the top.
If I look back on his results from last year I'm sure of that. He was 13th in Arctic Lapland Rally last year and in Rally Della Marca was 17th before his crash.
His results in WRC will be better event by event. He has the motivation. In addition to this he looks happier and more content.

Here are some pictures from his first test. Enjoy!

He looks gorgeous, doesn't he?

Fernando Alonso, official Ferrari driver

During this week Ferrari had its traditional meeting at the Madonna di Campiglio ski resort in northern Italy. Fernando Alonso made his debut in official team wear here. There were also his team mate Felipe Massa, Giancarlo Fisichella and drivers from team Ducati in MotoGP.
Mostly these meetings are connected with some press activities.
Actually, Alonso seems to be contented with his new team and also with his team mate. They were talking more than Massa did with Kimi during three years... At least Felipe Massa said this.
Honestly, if you look back at Kimi's time in McLaren you'll see a happy and satisfied young man. In addition to this he is more opened and happy in Rally, too. He is cheerful, communicative and there are sparks in his eyes! I'm pretty sure now that after 2007 he wasn't happy in Ferrari at all. Seeing him satisfied in Rally is making me content.

But this is not about what Massa said or not. This is about Fernando Alonso and his debut in last team in Formula One. Yes. He is not thinking about switching to another team in the future. I'm simply curious what's going to be when his contract with Ferrari expires earlier as he thinks it will.

Week News

After a very busy week I finally have time to sum up Formula One news of this week. Honestly I was surprised how many reports I've found. The biggest "surprise" was the split of Nicole Sherzinger and Lewis Hamilton. Both of them want to focus on their career. Well, the leader of the band PCD has drawn enough attention to herself and to the band during last year...
I'm not saying they weren't in love, actually, I'm sure they were, but I have my own opinion.

Coming back to the main topic, I'm really pleased with Pedro de la Rosa's possibly switch to Sauber. According to the Swiss newspaper Blick, he is a potential candidate to be Kobayashi's next team mate. Let's see when will be the official enouncement.

It seems maybe Rubens Barrichello will be the only one, who will test on 1st February 2010 in Spain! Actually I hope not. I really need to see some results!

Last but not least rumor is about Nelson Piquet jr. After long speculations and linkings with Campos or Force India he has confirmed a Nascar switch for 2010. We won't see him a lot on the European continent, but still I wish him more luck as he had in F1. By the way, he's thinking about to contest in Le Mans in the future.

1/11/2010

I have to ask this question. Is nowadays Formula One here to prepare the drivers for Rally?? There are too many F1 drivers who peep at it recently.
After Kimi Räikkönen's debut in Arctic Lapland Rally last year (and now he's switched to rally for a whole year), it seems that Kubica, driver for team Renault, has an eye on it too...
He is going to contest in Monte Carlo rally with Renault Clio R3 during 19-23 January 2010. This is going to be his fourth rally event (!!).
Poles are generally good in rally. Maybe Kubica will be another new WRC driver. Who knows what the future will bring.

Happy Birthday

Wow! How many people were born in January!
Adrian Sutil is not an exception. He's celebrating his 27th birthday today. I wish him only the best and resultful season in F1!

Happy Birthday Adrian!!

March is closer day by day!! I'm so glad that I've survived these 10 days and I'm finally back in posting news from Formula One world.
I recently read some articles about the point scoring system. The dotting will be for first ten drivers. Driver on first place will get 25 points, which is in vain. Actually, I don't like this new point scoring system, but a change is possibly. At least I hope there will be more fight for the places...

A huge question mark hanged above Silverstone circuit in the end of the last season. There was a chance the British GP will be in Donnington or nowhere. I hate crisis... Fortunately, Silverstone stays in the calendar.
The most positive newie for me is that F1 is going back to Canada!! I've really missed this track from the calendar. I love so much the track, city and country.

In addition to this Buemi, driver for Torro Rosso is going to drive F1 car on Montreal ice next Sunday! With this event they'll celebrate the return of F1 to the Canadian city. I'm really looking forward to it.

Briatore and Symonds are back!

Yes, it's true! The scandal in the team Renault and Briatore's prohibition was ridiculous! He was banished from F1. It was a huge LoL for me. I was like what? Briatore is out from F1 for ever? This was tough...
If they wanted to punish him they should have made it earlier. This wasn't his first "foot-fault".

This Tuesday (5th January 2010) the court has discarded Briatore's and Symond's prohibition. Briatore looks satisfied with the result. I would be too with 15 000 euro in my pocket as recompense...

The most important question for me is what's going to be with the young Piquet? I've read an article that Briatore is going to sue him. But, I think it's inept.

First, he shouldn't have talked badly about Piquet as a driver. Well, yeah. He wasn't the best driver he would have signed, but at least he tried to do the best.
Second, he should have counted with that. If I were Piquet I would make revenge too. And his revenge was coming to on a light with the "accidental" crash.
I think that Briatore should have made a treaty with Piquet before he gave him a sack. Actually Grosjean wasn't a better driver at all...
Well, I'm curious how this whole thing will turn out.

Happy Birthday

Today is Lewis Hamilton's 25th birthday!!!
So

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I guess this is the only photo I put there about him. Second will be when he will make scandal ;)

Goooooosh! This winter brake without any considerable news in the Formula One world is killing me!
At least the Arctic Lapland Rally with Kimi Räikkönen is closer than the first F1 event. Talking about Kimi, there are some new (!!) photos about him. His hair is longer, he's wearing a Red Bull cap and he is still that gorgeous.

These pics I have from a site about him. It's a very good website with much fresh and great news about him. Two brilliant girls run it, so by clicking HERE you can visit their site.

So here are the promised photos:

1/03/2010

These days, is nothing going on in Formula One. Winter breaks always kill me. Everyday I spend my time by checking news, but I find nothing. Well, there's something, but it's not what I really look for.

There are still some empty seats, like in Renault, Campos, US F1 and Sauber. Campos and US F1 are for me a bit unknown teams, so I'm pretty curious what will they achieve and how their strategy will look like.
Sauber has already signed Kobayashi, which is awesome. I think, there's something in this guy. His team mate can easily be Christian Klien, Nick Heidfeld, or as I've read today Pedro de la Rosa.
Team Renault is a mystery for me. Actually I haven't heard any news about them. Only I've read an article that maybe Kubica will drive the first three races for Ferrari, because Massa's neck hurts... I don't know it's true... Honestly, I think it's just another foolery from the bored journalist. They need to have readers during the brake too, so they came up with this.

After Schumacher's comeback there were some rumors that his brother, Ralph, will follow him and we will see more rivalry of these two Schumacher boys in F1. I'm saying that this not going to happen.
Also Piquet would like to get a seat in 2010. There were some rumors about him going to Campos.
Poor Alguersuari. His seat in Torro Rosso is still not confirmed, vel non officially. Personally I would like to see him there. He is a good driver, but needs some practise.

A great FMX, Rally and stuntman, Travis Pastrana, showed us that there are no limits for him. He flew his Subaru 269 feet (83 meters) off the Long Beach Pier onto a floating barge! There were 75 000 people out there and ESPN aired it live. As Travis said it was totally sick but at the same time incredible. That means - another record for this insane person. Honestly, this is why we love him so much. You can see his SICK jump right HERE:

An another year is behind us and another 365 days, now only 364 days, are waiting for us to live out them. I'm not that positive as I was last year. Still I'm full of ambitions.

Kimi Räikkönen will take a seat in Arctic Lapland Rally again. It's going to be a good practice before the first event in WRC, which is going to be in Sweden. I'm curious how it's going to turn out. He is an awesome driver and honestly rallying suits him nicely.

Rally Dakar has already started today. Let's see how the drivers will tackle with the nature. By clicking HERE you'll get to the official site of the Dakar.

And don't forget about that March is closer day by day!

I hope you started this year with a huge smile. I wish ya all the best!
